International Association of Metabolic Health and Nutrition (IADMN) offers membership opportunities for professionals, students, and institutions committed to advancing metabolic health and nutrition through science, education, and collaboration. Membership categories have been designed to accommodate individuals at different stages of their professional journey.
Life Member
For qualified dietitians, nutritionists working in the space of clinical nutrition, metabolic health and research.
Associate Member
For individuals working in nutrition, metabolic health, food science, healthcare, or related fields who wish to engage with the association’s activities and professional network.
Student Member
For undergraduate, and postgraduate students in foods, nutrition, dietetics, public health, and allied disciplines.
Institutional Member
For Government Institutes/ Academic institutions/ NGO’s/ Industries/ Corporates and For-Profit organizations.

Government Organizations/ Academic institutions/ Industries/ Corporates/ For Profit Organizations/ NGOs can be admitted as members subject to the approval of the Executive Board through an authorized representative from the institution.
Institutional Members
Graduate (B.Sc./B.Sc. Honours/B.H.Sc.) /Postgraduate students (PGD/ M.Sc.) of Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics and other specializations of Dietetics and Nutrition enrolled in a full time degree recognized by UGC (IADMN approved) are eligible to apply for student membership.
All student memberships strictly to be made via the Head of the Department of the College.
Student Member
Full time graduate (B.Sc/B.Sc. Honours (4 years)/ B.HSc./or any other B.Sc. nomenclature) or postgraduate (M.Sc./ PGD/ PhD) from UGC recognized or equivalent college/university in science streams other than those listed in the life membership criteria (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry etc.), B.HSc. Composite Home Science, B.Sc. Food Technology and Management
AND
a full time postgraduation in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics, including Food Science, Clinical Nutrition, Public Health, Community Nutrition from UGC recognized or equivalent college/university
OR
Full-time graduate (Medicine or other allied fields such as BAMS, BHMS, BPT) from MUHS recognized or equivalent college/ university AND
a full time postgraduation (M.Sc./ PGD/ PhD) in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics, including Food Science, Clinical Nutrition, Public Health, Community Nutrition from UGC recognized or equivalent college/university or Individuals.
Associate Member
Full time graduate (B.Sc/B.Sc. Honours (4 years)/ B.HSc./or any other B.Sc. nomenclature) or postgraduate (M.Sc./ PGD/ PhD) from UGC recognized or equivalent college/ university in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics, including Food Science, Clinical Nutrition, Public Health, Community Nutrition, and other specializations of Dietetics and Nutrition.
OR
Full time graduate (B.Sc/B.Sc. Honours/ B.HSc. or any other B.Sc. nomenclature) or postgraduate (M.Sc./ PGD/ PhD) from UGC recognized or equivalent college/university in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences (other UGC approved nomenclatures of these streams as approved by the executive board from time to time)
AND
a full time postgraduation (MSc/PGD/PhD) in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics, including Food Science, Clinical Nutrition, Public Health, Community Nutrition from UGC recognized or equivalent college/university.

Eligibility Criteria
Submission of an application under a membership category does not guarantee eligibility. Applicants must carefully assess the eligibility criteria for each membership category prior to application. The Association reserves the right to reject applications submitted under an incorrect category. In such cases, a new application will need to be submitted.
Membership Application Process
Step 1: Complete and submit the membership application form along with all required information and supporting documents.
Step 2: The application will be reviewed and evaluated by the Executive Board to determine eligibility for the selected membership category.
Step 3: Upon approval, you will receive an email with the membership fee details and payment instructions.
Step 4: Make the payment and submit the payment confirmation/transaction proof through the link provided in the approval email.
Step 5: Upon verification of the payment, your membership will be formally granted.
Step 6: A membership confirmation email, payment receipt, and membership certificate will be sent to your registered email address.

*The validity of student membership is for the duration of their course, they are currently enrolled in. Ideally, the students must apply in the first year of their graduation/post-graduation for the student membership. PhD and post-doctoral students will need to apply for life or associate membership as applicable. After the completion of the degrees, the students need to make a fresh application for the life or associate membership as applicable.
